Everything You Wanted to Know About 3D Printing But Were Too Afraid to Ask

3D printing is not exactly what it sounds like.  There are printing like machines that create objects layer by layer. It was actually developed in the  late ’80s.  3D designers use this to develop their own products.

User Interfaces Should Be Easy to Navigate

Samsung’s interfaces for their many different phones seem to have some kinks in them.  What most users know of placement of certain icons are thrown off by the out of norm buttons that are there instead.  This actually reminds me of a time that I was purchasing an external hard drive from Radio Shack.  The “cancel” button was on the side that usually says “accepts”.  The cashier said, “Everyone always pushes that button”.  Hmmmm… I wonder why.

Skittles

The revamp of the Skittles web site is putting a lot of companies in a state of frenzy.  They are simply using RSS feed and social networking sites to promote their product.  Tweets and fanpages are developing the company naturally.  What is better than consumer reviews?  Their layout is also using elements that are new and different to the users.  Their navigation keeps the user active.  Personally, I get kind of lost in the very long one page layout.
